The Safe City program is a national program designed to reduce crime and make communities safer and more attractive through the use of technology like video cameras and the T3 Series personal mobility vehicles for law enforcement and security patrols.
The revolutionary program was launched in Minneapolis, MN and has since grown to over nine cities across America. Safe City is a community-based initiative uniting businesses, residents, city officials, and law enforcement to develop and implement crime reduction solutions and build awareness. Safe City utilizes a combination of technology and information-sharing tools to empower citizens and achieve results.
The Safe City model helps reduce common urban crimes like shoplifting, auto theft, panhandling, and assault. The end goal is to make people feel safer, less vulnerable, and free to enjoy their community.
